Mission Statement
Provide global and world-class Military Health System strategic lifecycle facilities planning by creating and maintaining standardized facilities criteria, conducting market-centric portfolio planning, analyzing enterprise-wide medical and functional requirements, prioritizing capital investments, and supporting leasing, restoration, modernization, Military Construction, initial outfitting, transition, and facilities-related control systems.
Vision Statement
The Agency advocate for developing and maintaining the ideal MHS built environment by assisting Markets, Medical Treatment Facilities, and stakeholders with translating the healthcare delivery strategy into current and future facility requirements while informing enterprise strategic investments in support of an Integrated, Highly-Reliable System of Medical Training, Readiness, and Health.
Asset Optimization
Provides management and revision of DHA-FE functional criteria and standards utilized for requirements planning, facility design, construction, initial outfitting, transition, cybersecurity, Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS), and lifecycle management programs. Manages SEPS & 1691.
Compliance and Integration
Provides quality management and ensures conformance to standardized DHA-FE CSM processes; provides real-time feedback throughout the entire lifecycle of requirements/project development.
Investment Strategy
Manages the process by which potential capital expenditures are prioritized and supports DHA leadership by informing enterprise strategic investments in support of the Military Health System strategy, mission, and operational objectives. Liaisons with external agencies (e.g. Veterans, etc.)
Requirements Planning (East and West)
Plans major repair and all new construction projects regardless of project size, appropriation, work classification, scope, or acquisition strategy and provides integrated planning support throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.
